Dwight Library Fundraising Archery Tournament Results

The Dwight Library Fundraising 3D Target Archery Tournament was a great success! With the help of everyone involved, the Friends of the Library were able to raise over $3000 to purchase materials for our children/youth area! THANK YOU!!!!

There were 83 participants. Here are the winners in each category:

Cubs Open (ages up to 10 years - 5 archers): 1st-Wyatt Boothby; 2nd-Samantha Tapley, 3rd-Nicky Larune

Cadets Traditional (ages 11-15 years - 4 archers): 1st-Mac Chadwick, 2nd-Mitchell Payne, 3rd-Cole Shields

Cadets Compound/Barebow (ages 11-15 years - 12 archers): 1st-Max Wolochatiuk, 2nd-Jeremiah Lane, 3rd-Christian McEachern

Women's Traditional (2 archers): 1st-Stephanie Arscott, 2nd-Tammy Shields

Women's Compound/Barebow (2 archers): 1st-Kyla Johnson, 2nd-Diana Billingsley

Crossbow (17 archers): 1st-Matt Jones, 2nd-Ken Cipnery, 3rd-Ryan McNeice

Men's Traditional (12 archers): 1st-Joe Florent, 2nd-Jeff Rhiness, 3rd-Boniface Pecarski

Men's Compound/Barebow (29 archers): 1st-Ross Hildebrandt, 2nd-Joe Martin, 3rd-Rick Phillips

Renovations Update

The cottage renovations are almost complete! Here's the list so far:

"A" cottage - new kitchen floor; new interior pine doors; the bathroom has new floor, toilet, tub, tub surround, fresh paint; new hot water tank.

"B" cottage - new exterior entry stoop

"E" cottage - new backsplash behind pedestal sink in bathroom

Main Floor of Duplex cottage - new bathroom floor, tub surround, fresh paint

Upper Level of Duplex cottage - replacement of wood balcony floorboards

So, 5 of the 7 units have had some work done this spring! Whew! Some of the cottages have also received some new window curtains and new "Muskoka" shower curtains.
