MARCH BREAK/EASTER HOLIDAY

The March school break is now over and the Easter Holiday weekend is about to begin. Did any kids go to school for these four days in between??

Now that the break is over, many people are beginning to think of the May long weekend holiday and the summer! The official start to spring is not far away - although, you'd never know it from the snow and ice still around... Our May long weekend (or Victoria Day Holiday) is the weekend of May 16 -19. We have a 3 night minimum on that weekend!! Please note that we don't rent to groups on that weekend - we consider more than 2 cottages for one group of friends/family as a "group". Why did we make this decision? Well, some folks feel that the May "24" is the biggest party weekend of the year - and behave in a manner that is not exactly family-friendly...so, we just don't put up with it! When we first took over the resort in 2002, we didn't have this policy in place, and boy, did we pay for it...or should I say, the guests sure paid for it when we billed them for the extra cleaning and all of the damages! Never again! So, keep an eye on our Availability page, we'll have the available cottages up shortly.
