We have had SO much snow this past 1.5 weeks. The forecast is for another 25-30 cms between today and tomorrow night!!! Snowmobilers - get ready!
FYI - we have only 1 cottage remaining for the winter season of January, February, and March, 2008. It is our 2 bedroom "B" cottage - accommodates up to 4 people, including children. Please call us for rates!
Why do we rent for the full winter season only? We are family owned and operated, and we are open all year - we need a break! By renting for the full 3 months of winter to snowmobilers, this provides us with an opportunity to take some time for our family, visit friends who we haven't been able to see for a year, and squeeze in a vacation. By renting any other way, we are completing cottage changeovers (i.e., cleaning, washing linens, etc.) almost daily and certainly every weekend. Not very many people are able to work 7 days a week - 365 days a year, answer phone inquiries from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. every day, help folks who happen to stop by in person every day, and take internet inquiries/reservations every day - without going a little crazy!!! I'm sure you understand our reasoning now...
The Huntsville Santa Claus Parade was held last Friday - great fun! We were invited to ride in a float this year and thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a whole different perspective for children. Now, we are gearing up for our Christmas holiday time when folks will again be joining us for their family time. We have only a couple of cottages remaining for that time period - don't delay in booking your Christmas break.
